W.T.F. Gēmā Repōto – E3, FFXIV Beta, and a new day!

Yet another W.T.F. Gēmā Repōto to wrap up last week. Craziness happened, thanks to E3, Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, and Square Enix. Oh! And lets not forget the lulz we got from Konami's Press Conference. So without further adue we bring you the highlights and lol's of E3 as well as last weeks posts.
Microsoft Press Conference - Gamespot Video for MS E3

At this years Microsoft E3 section, there was A LOT, to say the least. From casual gaming, to your latest jockhead no brain shooters. Here's the top 5 games for the 360 you should look forward to

Now while I don't support Bungie and the Halo series much, considering what it's done to gaming and FPS games, I'm sure all the Halo freaks will go out and buy the ultimate-super-awesome edition of it when it hits. The real focal point, Metal Gear Solid Rising, god doesn't it look wonderful. It focuses on Raiden and his sexy swords. Some people have been saying it's completely off from what the series is about, but really do you really want the game thing over and over and over again? I don't. MSG: Rising brings a new edge to the world of MSG. Accept it, and stop crying that Raiden is hot and you don't match up. The other game I'm looking forward to is Dance Central, because in case you don't match up to Raiden to attract the women or men you desire, well you can use Dance Central to burn some of that lazy xbox player ass off with this beautifully done dance game. It incorporates Kinect as it's main controller, much like Your Shape: Fitness Evolved and it is damn accurate. I miss DDR3 Japanese edition, and even though Dance Central won't have the Japanese songs I know and love, I think I will still enjoy it quite a bit. Gears of War 3, yes yes it should be one to look forward to, why? Well this time it's more focused on actual team based play. If you do not work with your teammates and organize properly, boom you're done. You brought it on yourself for being a jackass and you'll be dead. I love Team Fortress 2, and Left 4 Dead 1-2, the last FPS games that had real team based gameplay. These 3 games almost make me want to buy an Xbox 360.

Nintendo Press conference - Gamespots Video for Nintendo E3

Nintendo at this years E3 felt....very disappointing...a short list of games, and a sad execution of Zelda: Skyward Sword by Miyamoto. Don't get me wrong I LOVE Nintendo, and Miyamoto but the Wii Motion Plus just doesn't match up to the Sony Move or the Microsoft Xbox 360 Kinect. The Wii Motion Plus is slow to respond and clumsy. Sorry Nintendo, but upgrade your tech and then we can talk some more. The Nintendo 3DS is great and an amazing accomplishment as far as handheld gaming but until then, these are the top 5 games to look forward to from Nintendo if you're a Nintenerd and refuse to realize their lack of technology.

I cannot stress enough how much of a good move Nintendo made with remaking Golden Eye 007. Oh my GAWD, I was shocked and amazed, WANT WANT. It's the same game, with more multiplayer options, levels, and upgraded graphics. It's something you want, trust me. Donkey Kong Country? Hell yes! Finally! I've waited for a proper DK: Country game about as long as I've been waiting for 007. It looks sleek, fast paced, and everything we could ever want from a DK: Country game. Zelda: Twilight Princess tried, but where it failed, Skyward Sword will triumph I am sure, hopefully they fix their mote issues so we can swing that sword as it should be swung.

Sony Press Conference - Gamespots Video for Sony E3

Kevin Butler for President damnit! He blew the show away, everything else was less than in comparison to that 5 minute speech (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mGZbJlpsohc). Who cares about the games that they talked about, pfft. That speech was all that mattered. Never the less, heres the top 5 games for Ps3.

I didn't get to play the first Little Big Planet but I've seen enough to know that it's amazing and exactly what we all needed as gamers. LBP2 will advance on that, and further expand the creativity that hides within us all. You too can be a developer with this platform for games. Sorcery's E3 stage show was a big big push for the Sony Move with its 1 to 1 response time and action. That game alone made me squeal and leap for a moment in want for a Ps3 and Sorcery. It being under MvC 3: Fate of Two Worlds and LBP2 is no laughing matter, it is definitely something to look forward to. Dead Space 2? yea yea, whatever, I'm sure someone will love it.

Friday Fantasy Alpha posts! This time with 2 editions, one by Wicked, one by Sugar. Wicked's post was based around the Square Enix Final Fantasy XIV booth and the gameplay updates they have planned for Beta. Videos, trailers, and info you are going to touch yourself to. Sugar's post was a recap of the days in Alpha she has had, she will be continuing to post when the Alpha starts and we will be changing the days name to Friday Fantasy Beta(duh). Oh right, and the end of Alpha is here. Look forward to updates for Beta launching, and don't forget to check your email!

Lastly, in light of the recent downfall of Thursday Tactics and its suspension we're starting a new type of post. Thursday Game Hunting. In this section We will be commenting, and providing you all with a list of games either coming out or already out and you should look into.We rate them on a 1-5 scale with Fires as our symbol of rating. Why fire? Well, I like fire, you SHOULD like fire. This will be a post that happens every 2 weeks and it will include platforms, trailers, and release dates. Basically the information you need to make a decision to purchase the game or not. Also, Wednesday Anime Wonders is coming out with a list and some short blurbs about each one, anime's that we feel you should know about. That list will only happen during the Summer, Winter, and Spring. Yes we plan to be in your lives for a long long time. So keep us subscribed and always tell your friends!

That wraps up another week of W.T.F. Gēmā Repōto, see you next time!
